The process of capturing this elegant Populous Nigra or commonly known as Black Poplar leaf, is similar to that of other leaves in this series. There were 1,120 images taken of this leaf, meticulously blended and merged to produce this final Brobdingnagian image which shows the beautifully detailed venatian patterns and textures. Printed on to Ilford's finest of textured, 100% cotton, photographic papers.
